Rachel Diaz Pirard

Pastry Chef

Chef Diaz Pirard has never played by the rules, and it shows in her work. Spending much of her youth since pre-teens in the performing arts, food became a point of union and comfort in her life. One of the fondest memories includes crew huddled on location in the damp rain, while fellow actors roasted soup on a camp kettle to ward off the impending cold. Chef Diaz Pirard then went on to study in Oxford, England, and Paris, France, where the fascination in breads and pastries took full root. She has thus gone onto consulting and wholesale with residents at Casa Ora.
